Editor’s Note: Police One inadvertently posted a video tip showing an officer inappropriately responding to a robbery in progress call. Calibre Press and Police One have always advocated and will continue to advocate that officers maintain a safe distance, secure the perimeter, maintain awareness of their location and surroundings, and have the victim come out to the officers if possible. Officer should never break cover and respond directly to the front door of the robbery location.
