Photo of the week: Negative temperatures, positive attitudes

Larimer County Rangers patrol the parks and serve their Colorado communities despite sub-zero temperatures

This week’s photo was submitted by County Ranger Hannah Beam from the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources in Loveland, Colorado.

“The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources employs 15 full-time park rangers who are responsible for patrolling Larimer County open spaces and reservoirs in Northern Colorado,” writes Hannah. “The photos were taken at Carter Lake Reservoir and the average temperature this last weekend when the photos were taken was -4 degrees Fahrenheit.”
