ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — A pair of North Carolina troopers were praised for their hospitality after they helped a stranded motorist – and then invited her to lunch.
According to FOX 5, an elderly woman was traveling alone when her car ran out of gas. Two state troopers, identified as Linch and Collins, responded to her call for help. Linch sat with the woman in her car while Coggins went to get gas.
After they were done refueling, the troopers invited her to lunch, where they were joined by Troopers Foster and Gibbs, according to FOX 5.
A fellow diner saw their luncheon, snapped a photo and shared the story on Facebook.
