MESQUITE, Nev. — An entire neighborhood in Mesquite, Nevada changed its porchlights to blue as a show of support for law enforcement.
On August 10, the Mesquite Police Department posted a picture of the illuminated street to Facebook.
“They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but there aren’t enough words to explain what this picture means to us,” the agency wrote. “This is just another reminder of how lucky we are to work in this community and we are grateful for such amazing support.”
