P1 Photo of the Week: Super Landon

(PoliceOne Image)

This week’s photo of the week comes from Det. Sgt. First Class Bill Ames, who served with the New Jersey State Police. Pictured is young Landon Sheppard in his own customized police car, which he received from the department as one of many activities put together for him after an officer learned the boy was suffering from brain cancer. Landon made an arrest, ran the bomb robot, participated in CSI fingerprinting and watched as officers rappelled down a building in ‘Super Landon’ t-shirts on his special day. Great job, officers!

If you’d like to donate to Landon’s cause, visit his donation page here.
