This week’s photo comes from Police1 columnist Evan Bloom of Syracuse, New York.

In the photos, Bloom’s sons, 9-year-old Benjamin and 11-year-old Isaac, hand out goodie bags to show support for law enforcement. Bloom’s wife, Jodi, baked cupcakes while the boys assembled care packets. Bloom helped spread the word to local first responder agencies.

The day was a total success, said Bloom. Local police, fire and EMS personnel all turned out, along with state troopers.

“We had great fun with our project,” said Benjamin and Isaac. “It is important that all first responders know we are grateful for what they do, and we love them.”
