RENO, Nev. — Drone America, Inc., a leading developer of advanced uncrewed aerial systems (UAS), and SpecTIR, LLC, a pioneer in hyperspectral imaging technologies, are pleased to announce the signing of a strategic agreement focused on expanding high-performance aerial imaging capabilities for commercial and government applications.
The agreement marks the first step in a long-term collaboration aimed at integrating SpecTIR’s world-class sensor technology with Drone America’s flight-proven UAS platforms. Under the terms of the agreement, the two Nevada-based companies will jointly pursue opportunities in the U.S. and select international markets where sophisticated airborne data acquisition is essential — ranging from mineral and oil/gas exploration to environmental monitoring, disaster response, infrastructure assessment, and national security operations.

As part of the collaboration:
- SpecTIR will contribute hyperspectral sensors, as well as data collection, processing, and analytics capabilities.
- Drone America will lead airframe engineering, sensor integration, FAA-compliant flight testing, and operational demonstrations for prospective clients.
Both companies will actively share market insights and collaborate on business development efforts where their combined technologies can deliver measurable, mission-critical value.
