In addtion to extra magazines, duct tape, door stops, and other goodies we place in our emergency response or “go bags,” be sure to include a baseball cap. If you respond to a building with an active shooter or other emergency and the fire sprinklers have been activated, the bill of the cap will help keep water out of your eyes.
