Dr. Larry Jetmore, a retired captain of the Hartford (CT) PD, has authored five books in the field of criminal justice, including, Path of the Warrior. A former police academy and SWAT team commander, he earned his Ph.D. at Union University in Ohio, plus master’s, bachelor’s, and associate’s degrees in Connecticut. Dr. Jetmore is the director of the criminal justice program at Middlesex College in Middletown, CT and a full-time faculty member.

Dr. Michael Asken is the retired psychologist for the Pennsylvania State Police, specifically the Special Emergency Response Team. He was involved with the selection and training of troopers, as well as cadet performance issues at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy where he also taught. Asken holds a BA in social & behavioral sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at West Virginia University. He was a Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology fellow at the American Psychological Association. Asken has written articles for SWAT Digest, The Crisis Negotiator, The Tactical Edge, Law Officer, The Bulletin of the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police, and the FireArms Instructor.

Richard B. Weinblatt, a former police chief and police academy manager, has amassed quite a bit of education, training and experience in training law enforcement officers.

Harriet Fox is a Correctional Officer in a county jail in Northern California. She is a Jail Training Officer, Emergency Response Team member and has worked as an Intake Classification Officer. Having an inquisitive mind, Harriet is intrigued by the criminal mind, gangs and mental illness within the walls of the correctional system. Prior to becoming a Correctional Officer, Harriet worked several different law enforcement positions including Reserve Police Officer and 9-1-1 Communications Dispatcher. Harriet has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.

Nicole Forzano is the Distance Learning Product Manager at the Praetorian Group, responsible for the development and management of the Police1 Academy. Forzano is focused on researching trends and technology in online training, expanding the Police1 expert base, building the video library, and providing innovative online training solutions for the law enforcement community.In her previous position at Digital OutPost as a vendor for California POST, Nicole project managed 40 law enforcement training videos, including Human Trafficking Update, Gangs and Drugs, Public Health Emergencies, High Technology Crimes and numerous terrorism related titles. She also produced SWAT Update: Command & Control, which focused on the lessons learned from the Oakland March 21, 2009 Incident. Her background as a video producer was cultivated in broadcast news in New York and California as an investigative field producer and news writer. She is inspired by the opportunity to help advance training technology for law enforcement and grateful to those who protect their communities and dedicate their lives to public service.

Jack E. Hoban is president of Resolution Group International, subject matter expert for Combatives and Warrior Ethics for the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, and trains police officers in de-escalation skills.
