BOGOTA, Colombia — A woman who says she was the prostitute who triggered the U.S. Secret Service scandal in Colombia says that if she were a spy she could have easily obtained sensitive information.
The woman who identifies herself as “Dania” also says she never would have complained about not being paid by an agent had she known he was part of U.S. President Barack Obama’s security detail.
Dania says she fled Colombia after the scandal broke for fear of retribution and spent time in Dubai with someone she had met in Cartagena, where the scandal occurred ahead of last month’s Summit of the Americas.
She also says in a broadcast interview that she will happily sell her story now and has contracted one of Colombia’s top lawyers.
