Too many times I have caught myself focused on the suspect or suspect’s vehicle and not shaking off that dreaded tunnel vision. Everytime I think of it now I think someone may be behind me, or is there cross traffic? Too many good officers get killed or are living with the death or an injury of an innocent bystander in a pursuit, mostly due to tunnel vision. Please take this tip to heart, train yourself everytime you go on patrol, thank you,
