HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Two officers were awarded for their bravery after they saved a driver from a burning car on Dec. 2.
According to local news station ABC 13, the officers attempted to put the flames out, but were unsuccessful.
The officers were unable to open car doors because of the heat, so they busted out the passenger-side window to get the driver out.
Moments later, the car was engulfed in flames.
Both officers received “Lifesaving Medal Awards” for their heroic acts.
