Safety Vision LLC has announced the release of the ICOP PRO, a digital video recorder for law enforcement featuring a Power Control Monitor (PCM).

The PCM integrates a 4.3-inch screen, speaker, playback controls, and a magnetic strip card reader into a single unit, which can be installed near the driver’s seat of a police unit for increased functionality.

The PCM connects using one cable to a DIN-size DVR enclosure that can install in a dashboard or console.

The ICOP Pro is available in two configurations: one using a removable 1 terabyte (TB) drive and another using a 128 GB SD card. Both options utilize an innovative mirror recording feature to back up captured video.

The ICOP Pro is compatible with Safety Vision’s MCAM2 camera and the EXTREME Wireless Mic.

Features include built-in WiFi and four available camera channels to provide more comprehensive coverage of the officer’s vehicle and its surroundings.
