Remove the white lens of the “Suicide Light” and place a red taillight lens inside. This will reduce the amount of the bright white light that illuminates you and distorts your vision. Another quick fix is to cover the light with tail light lens repair tape. This tape can also be used to cover the map lights on either side of the dome light. Also, the red evidence tape works well to cover any lens or bulb.
