SEATTLE — Seattle police swiftly responded to an ongoing robbery at a pharmacy, culminating in the arrest of two suspects caught on an officer’s body camera as they exited the store with a cash register, KIRO reported.

“Woah, woah, woah,” the officer said as two suspects came out the door of the pharmacy, attempting to hide a large cash register drawer between them as they shuffled by. “Hey…put that down.”

Upon their arrival, police immediately apprehended a female suspect, 20, who was in possession of the cash register. During the April 29 arrest, officers discovered she was also attempting to conceal a firearm, according to the report.

While the female suspect was being detained, the male suspect fled. Video shows officers locating him hiding in a shed. The officers appeared to back away, waiting for the man to emerge from his hiding spot.

When the man did emerge, officers told him to get on the ground. He instead continued to approach the officers while yelling.

“Sir, that’s not me!” he told the officers.

The man continued to ignore officers’ instructions. He shoved the officer before running away once more.

The video then shows multiple officers pursuing the man on foot as he ran through a parking lot. At least one officer had a gun drawn, but no shots were fired as officers took the man into custody.

“It wasn’t even me!” the man can be heard saying as cuffs are placed on his hands.

The female suspect was subsequently booked for theft and unlawful carrying of a pistol, according to the report. The male suspect, 40, faces charges related to obstruction and a prior incident of domestic violence.
