LAS VEGAS — A trooper conducting a traffic stop was doused with beer after a truck containing bottles and cans lost its contents.
Trooper Travis Smaka pulled a vehicle over for speeding and asked the driver if the people in the car had been drinking, KSNV reported. Then he heard the sound of brakes locking up.

A truck carrying beer bottles and cans lost its contents, dropping over 1,000 pounds of beer bottles and cans on Smaka and the driver. Luckily, the only thing they had to dodge was the beer.
“When you watch the video, it is a little amusing but at the same time, sends a serious reminder of what happens on the freeway when people do cut in front of semis,” Trooper Jason Buratczuk told the news station.
Smaka said he’s grateful no one was injured, and let the driver off without a ticket.
“I just picked up my uniform at the dry cleaners and then I was soaked head to toe in beer,” Smaka said.
