VALLEJO, Calif. — Vallejo police are now connecting a female trio to four downtown strong-arm robberies in a week.
Police earlier credited the women with three incidents on Oct. 22, and investigators have since linked the group to a fourth holdup Friday night.
In each incident, victims describe three black teenagers who physically assault women, taking purses and backpacks, according to a Vallejo Police Department release by Lt. Ken Weaver.
Friday’s incident occurred before 8 p.m. in front of a senior citizen complex on the 600 block of Sacramento Street, Weaver said.
The suspected robbers are described as 17-19 years old who are driven off from the crime scenes by a black adult male in a light gray or silver 1985-1990 four-door Volvo with body damage to the vehicle’s right side.
In one earlier robbery, the women are caught on a security camera running up to and beating an elderly woman before taking her purse, Weaver wrote.
