INDIANAPOLIS — Motorcycle gangs, tobacco smuggling, sex trafficking, terrorism and online predators were some of the topics discussed at the recent Fall Law Enforcement Conference.
Noblesville police officers were among the approximately 270 participants in the conference, organized by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana.
The agency has been holding the conference for the past eight or nine years, said Tim Morrison, acting U.S. Attorney for the district.
“We are trying to provide quality training that helps them (officers) in their day-to-day effort to be better law enforcement officers and make better cases,” Morrison said.
Fishers Police Chief George Kehl said he liked the course on DNA “and especially the human trafficking (programs) because I think we’ll see more of that.”
