DALLAS — The City of Dallas and the Dallas Police Department have teamed up in a video series to help civilians and public servants have safer interactions.
“The Real Flip Side” aims to show both the police officer and civilian perspective of various situations, according to a press release. The ultimate goal is to improve community relationships by raising awareness and providing safety tips to make police-civilian interactions more positive.
The first video in the series, “#BlueAndYou,” focuses on traffic stops.
The city says that by starting a conversation, both sides can work toward more positive interactions.
