For the month of July, an officer’s powerful tribute to the fallen gave us all pause to reflect back and remember just how much police are willing to sacrifice on a day-to-day basis. On the subject of sacrifice, number two on our list captures a cop out of Louisiana putting himself in harm’s way for the sake of proving a point to the public about safety. On the lighter side of things, the Baltimore Police Department showed us just how ‘Happy’ they were to reach an impressive number of Twitter followers, a pick-up game between Missouri cops and kids went viral, and a TASER-induced faceplant of epic proportions was captured on cell phone video.
