FLIR Systems has announced the identiFINDER R100 personal radiation detector as a new addition to the R-Series of handheld radiation security devices.
The belt-worn R100 integrates networking capabilities, immediate threat alarms, and automatically-generated dose rate reports to help protect first responders and military and security personnel.
The identiFINDER R100 features integrated Bluetooth wireless technology for sending reports. The device is protected against dust and water immersion up to 1 meter to support everyday use in harsh environments. The device has the capability to connect to mobile apps, which record and send real-time dose rates and geotag information up the chain of command.
