MANASSAS, Va. — A Manassas man died Saturday at a hospital after officers used a stun gun to try to subdue him, according to Prince William County Police.
Police said Debro Lamonte Wilkerson, 29, was combative while fire department personnel tried to treat him. They then used the stun gun while trying to take him into custody.
It is not clear why Mr. Wilkerson was being treated. Officials are investigating how he died, and it is unclear whether the stun gun was directly related to his death.
