DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Video has been released of a confrontation between a teenager resisting arrest and Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue officers.
According to WFTV, police approached the teen for questioning on suspicion of intoxication. The teen refused to show ID to the officers and became aggressive.
As seen in the video, the teen repeatedly resists officers’ attempts to arrest him. A group of friends continuously yell at the officers to let the suspect go. It is then that officers deploy a TASER on the suspect.
Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue said Daytona Beach Police Officers had to be called in for assistance, according to the report.
