In this video we coach officers on how to defend and retain their weapon from a cross grab by the suspect. This is a common scenario an officer can expect to find themselves in should they be taken to the ground by a suspect.
In the video, the suspect is on top of the officer and is reaching for the officer’s gun with their hand that is the furthest from the gun (cross grab).
