LOS ANGELES — Two Los Angeles officers began a run Sunday to honor their fallen brothers and sisters.
Officers Joe Cirrito and Kristina Tudor are running around 400 miles from the LA Police Academy to Sacramento to raise money for the families of fallen officers, KABC reported.
The run will take 12 days, leading the officers to the California Peace Officer’s Memorial.
Cirrito and Tudor will be running on their off days in full uniform and gear.
The money raised will go to the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation and Concerns of Police Survivors.
