NEW LONDON, Conn. — He served the New London police department for years helping to track down criminals, but a police dog is suffering from arthritis and the city doesn’t want to pay for his medication anymore.
For about 8 years, Buck has been a big help busting drug dealers and solving crime in the City of New London, now the Department is worried his days may be numbered.
David McElroy, Vice President of the New London Police Union says now they just got word that the city doesn’t want to pay for Buck’s arthritis medication anymore.
