GOLD BAR, Wash. — A Sultan man who collapsed during Sept. 4 struggle with deputies ultimately died of cardiopulmonary arrest, officials said Wednesday.

Adam Colliers, 25, reportedly stopped breathing after he was shocked with a Taser stun gun.

At the time of his death, Colliers had acute methamphetamine intoxication and likely had excited delirium as well, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The manner of death was ruled an accident.
