LAS VEGAS — A man who fought with an officer before stealing his patrol vehicle and causing a serious crash will be charged with robbery, according to a KLAS report.

On Tuesday night, Clyde Cabulisan, 29, was seen by witnesses running naked through an intersection and banging on car windows, according to the report. When a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer came to respond to the scene and initiated an arrest, Cabulisan resisted, hitting the officer and fleeing.

Cabulisan can be seen in a witness video climbing into the officer’s patrol video, buckling up and driving away.

Police pursued the stolen cruiser for more than five miles, according to the report. The pursuit ended when Cabulisan drove the wrong way down a road, ran a red light and slammed into another car’s passenger side.

Cabulisan and the driver and passenger of the car he hit were severely injured. A man in the passenger seat of the car told reporters that his right side was paralyzed.

According to court documents obtained by KLAS, Cabulisan is facing four charges: Robbery, driver disobeying peace officer and endangering people/property, grand larceny of a motor vehicle, and battery on a protected person. He will appear in court Nov. 2.
