NEW YORK — One Egyptian man’s wisecrack sure bombed with security at JFK.
Moatazbellah Mohamed Kamel Osman, 33, of Cairo, grew frustrated that airport workers were not doing more to find his lost bag and allegedly claimed there was a bomb in it. Sources said he hoped the threat would make JFK officials take him seriously.
“My passport and a f--king bomb are in there,” he allegedly said.
Authorities eventually determined there was no bomb — but charged Osman with making a terroristic threat.
Earlier in the day, a Manhattan man caused a frenzy on a JFK-bound flight from Cancun, when passengers complained about the kerosene smell of his shirt, police said.
Waylon Jacques, 24, was forced to remove the reeking garment, which he told cops got doused during a beach bonfire party at the Mexican resort. He was not arrested.
