SEATTLE — Surveillance video from a Metro bus in Seattle shows several passengers jump into action when a man sticks a handgun in an unsuspecting passenger’s face.

On November 25, Travonnte Brown, 19, boarded a Rapid Ride bus wearing a black coat, a hood, and a nylon mask covering his face, according to Action News JAX.

Brown stuck the gun in a woman’s face and robbed two men before approaching another passenger, who lunged at the gun, prompting several other passengers to tackle him and hold him to the ground until police arrived.

Two children were caught in the struggle, according to the report.

Brown pleaded not guilty to robbery charges on Monday, and is being held in King County Jail. If convicted he could face more than 15 years in prison.
