HILLSIDE TOWNSHIP — New Jersey State Police released a dash cam video of two troopers helping to deliver a baby girl on the Garden State Parkway, KTLA reported.
A pregnant couple were on their way to the hospital when they realized the expectant mother wasn’t going to make it there before delivering the baby.
Troopers Il Alex Murro and Arnaldo Mateo were dispatched to help and when they arrived, the mother was already in labor.
Dash cam video caught the troopers giving the mother encouraging words throughout her labor. When the healthy baby girl was delivered, the troopers helped cut the umbilical cord.
The mother and her new baby were taken to the hospital where they were reported to be doing well.
