“We had a massive outbreak of wildfires in our area due to extreme drought conditions,” wrote Deputy Braydone Moore of the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office. “This fire started when power lines arced together during high winds. My partner and I were trying to keep an eye on the fire throughout the night due to several houses being in danger.”
