Suspected kidnapping turns into shoot-out with police

SALISBURY — City police said three men were in custody after a suspected home invasion and kidnapping turned into shoot-out last night.
Salisbury police said at about 9:45 p.m., officers were sent to Homer Street for a home invasion-type robbery. Witnesses told police that several suspects had forced their way into the home at gunpoint and taken two victims from their home and forced them into vehicles before fleeing the area. ... Full Story
