MANCHESTER, England- Police arrested eight people suspected of terrorist offenses Wednesday in an operation involving hundreds of officers, police said.
Police served warrants at a number of Manchester homes beginning at 3 a.m., police said. The operation was targeting people suspected of facilitating terrorism abroad.
Searches were continuing at several locations, police said.
