A man is accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer after he used a van equipped with illegal blue lights to pull someone over

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A 27-year-old man is accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer after he used a van equipped with illegal blue lights to pull someone over, Greensboro police said.

Authorities said they arrested the driver of a 1999 Ford work van in the parking lot of Citgo, 3930 Battleground Ave., at 10:14 p.m. Wednesday.

Nathan Weber of 4901 Lawndale Drive was charged with felony illegal use of blue light, misdemeanor impersonating a law enforcement officer, injury to personal property and having an open container after drinking alcohol.

Weber’s bond was set at $5,000.
