Drunk driver busted twice at same time

Daylight savings caused suspect to be arrested at 1:08 AM, twice

A drunken driver in Ohio managed to get busted twice — blocks apart — at exactly the same time.

Blame Daylight Saving Time.

Niles Gammons, 22, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. Sunday morning when spotted driving his Oldsmobile the wrong way down a one-way alley in Urbana, police said.

After Gammons failed a Breathalyzer, his license was suspended and he was released.

At 2 a.m., clocks were set back an hour at the end of Daylight Saving Time.

So at 1:08 a.m. again, Gammons nearly collided with the same cop who had arrested him earlier, authorities said. He was still over the legal limit.
