OSCEOLA COUNTY, Mich. — A runaway horse and buggy recently ran its way into a confrontation with the Michigan State Police.
The bizarre incident occurred when a trooper from the Cadillac Post was patrolling traffic on M-115 near 70th Avenue in Osceola County on Tuesday. In addition to stopping speeding vehicles, the trooper also stopped the runaway horse and rider-less buggy.

“There is a never a dull moment in the life of a trooper,” a tweet reads.
The horse was given a verbal warning, according to police, but has one Twitter follower pointed out, the horse didn’t know how fast he was going.
“Neigh,” he responded.
