LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A restaurant server was confronted with the woman accused of stealing her identity, according to 9news.com.

Brianna Priddy’s wallet was stolen February 13 during a night out with friends. 12 days later, a customer came to the Applebee’s.

The customer sat in her section and used her I.D to place the order. When Priddy realized what was going on, she took silent action.

“But I didn’t say anything. I handed it back to her and said sure I’ll be right back with your margarita. [I] went straight to the phone, called the cops,” Priddy said via 9news.com.

Lakewood police arrived in minutes. Police spokesman Steve Davis couldn’t release the name of the person arrested because the investigation is ongoing.

“Dumb criminal! That’s the first [word] that comes to mind,” Davis said. “We found some narcotics in this woman’s possession, so she’s in quite a bit of hot water.”

Davis added that the suspect is 26 and more than old enough to but a drink with her own ID. The woman accused faces felony charges including theft, identity theft, and criminal impersonation, according to the same report.
