NEW YORK -- A Queens man was charged yesterday with impersonating a cop and raping two women he met on craigslist, court papers say.
Suraj Persaud is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
He has been arrested twice since May for allegedly hiring the women, 19 and 29, for “massages” and, when they showed up, telling them he was a cop, raping them and threatening to bust them for prostitution if they turned him in.
In both incidents, Persaud, 34, of Queens Village, allegedly displayed two handguns.
He was arrested for the incident involving the older woman in May, and released on $35,000 bail.
Weeks later, the teen made similar allegations, and Persaud was arrested again.
