TRINITY, Texas — The Trinity Police Department uploaded a photo to their social media sites showing two officers with “His Life Matters” written on their hands, KTVU reported.
Officer Donald Givens and Chief Steven Jones stand together with the message on their palms and arrows pointed at one another.
The now viral post included hashtags #AllLivesMatter and #PoliceStrong.

The message plays off the “Black Lives Matter” movement, which calls attention to the high number of officer-involved shootings involving members of the black community, The Washington Times reported.
The officers, along with others in their department, were featured in a 2013 CMT reality series called “Big Texas Heat.”
