MONNACHIE, N.J. — A reporter covering the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy was the first on the scene of large house fire that had a police officer backing up the hose line for a firefighter.

The CBS News reporter was doing a live report when smoke started to billow out of a nearby home. Cameras were there right as firefighters arrived.

At least one police officer helps the lone firefighter man the line and attack the blaze that is pouring out the home’s side door.
