STEPHENVILLE, Texas — A runaway calf led police on a 12-block pursuit, NBC 5 reported.
The calf broke loose outside of the city, Sgt. Sha King told the news site.
“He was running for his life, he was trying to go into the woods,” witness Peter McMahon said. “He was moving.”
Five police cars tried to block off the calf and 20 minutes later, with the help of animal control and a citizen, the calf was captured.
“It might happen in other places, but I’d like to say only in Texas,” witness Katie Burr told NBC 5.
