RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. — A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy has died from coronavirus, the department said Thursday, April 2.
Deputy Terrell Young served the department for 15 years and the department’s first to die from COVID-19, the department said in a brief announcement. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this difficult time,” the sheriff’s statement said.
No further information was available Thursday morning.
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said last week three of his deputies identified as coronavirus patients.
