ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The man suspected of drowning a police K-9 has turned himself in after a 24-hour search.
26-year-old Brandon Allison turned himself in to police Wednesday, according to CBS Miami.
Allison, who was also wanted on a felony charge for dealing cocaine, was tracked by Deputy Farrah Ashe and K-9 Baron in a wooded area before the officer found her K-9 partner unresponsive in a body of water.
Deputies said additional charges against Allison are pending further investigation.
