NEW YORK — Police are hunting for an e-bike rider who threatened to kill two Manhattan NYPD traffic agents — and damaged their van with a punch, officials said Wednesday.

“If I had a weapon, I would kill you,” the man told the two uniformed agents as he rode alongside their moving van near Rivington and Allen Sts. on the Lower East Side about 2 p.m. Tuesday, according to cops.

He punched the marked van’s sideview mirror, causing it to break off, before zipping away on his e-bike uptown on Allen St., police said.

Cops on Wednesday released surveillance images of the suspect riding alongside the van and asked the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
