LOS ANGELES — Actor J.K. Simmons, who just won an Oscar for his performance in “Whiplash” on Sunday, bought lunch for a pair of officers in Los Angeles.
According to the New York Post, the 60-year-old actor was ordering lunch Tuesday at a Mexican restaurant when he saw two LAPD officers in line and offered to pay for their meal.
The actor reportedly picked up the tab again for a third officer who entered the establishment.
