Officer Shawn Provot of the Fond du Lac (Wis.) Police Department sent Police1 a photo of Officer Craig Birkholz’s parents laying flowers at the Fond du Lac Police Memorial stone in honor of their son. Birkholz was killed during a shootout in 2011.
