ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A 10-year-old Albuquerque boy with Muscular Dystrophy became a SWAT officer and the chief of the Albuquerque Police Department all in one day.
He also caught a bandit terrorizing the city—It was all part of his wish, granted by APD and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Andrew Martines sat with family and friends on Sunday morning, patiently and quietly waiting for his call to duty.
