An intense manhunt was on last night for a retired Bedford cop who authorities said was armed and dangerous after a horrific triple murder at a Cambridge home last night.
John ‘Jack’ Brosnahan, 68, should not be approached, Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone said at a press conference last night.
‘Anyone knowing Mr. Brosnahan should not approach him,’ Leone said. ‘At this time we believe he is armed, and that is why we ask the public not to approach him.’
Police around the region were instructed to look for a white 2011 Toyota Camry authorities believe Brosnahan was driving.
Cambridge cops were called to the Grove Street home at about 6 p.m. yesterday and found three dead of obvious gunshot wounds, Leone said. The victims’ names were not released immediately last night because other family members had not been notified.
Leone said, ‘They’re all adults.’
