New York- Two Connecticut men were arrested this weekend for allegedly selling a police uniform and other illegal items at an upstate New York flea market.
Police in Stormville in Dutchess County say one of the men arrested Sunday had police badges from several states and a police jacket from the City of Yonkers Police Department. Police say the badges are official looking and could be used by impersonators to give the impression that they are real officers. The man was also allegedly selling a switchblade and metal knuckles.
A second man who allegedly helped with the sale of the police uniform was also charged with misdemeanor criminal sale.
